Procedure


      On Monday 20th February, the teacher told us to talk with our friends about “the foods that I had ever cooked”.  We talk about this topic for a while and the teacher opened the PowerPoint that was the healthy diet. Then, the teacher told us about her past in Sydney and Australia. She told that she cooked a lot in there by herself. And she assigned the work for us to make the video about cooked the food and explain how to cook from the video.

      Next, she opened the cooking video of “Jamie Oliver” that he was cooking “the perfect omelet”. So, the teacher assigned us to listen and watch this video carefully and write words or sentences that we hear. After we watched it finished, she asked us about words or sentences that we hear. So, we could tell many words and sentences.
      Next, she opened the cooking video of the perfect omelet by Jamie Oliver. We listened and watched that video carefully and wrote the words from the video. After that, she told us about the words that we heard and opened other videos from Youtube.

      After that, the teacher gave us the “Procedure” handout and told us to look at page 29. The teacher explained about “How to make a banana shake” in the handout. After that, she told us to do the activities in the handout. It was about “Match each sentence with the correct picture and then put all sentences in the correct order and “Read the recipe about Chicken soup and answer the questions that follow”. After we finished did that activities, she told us to the test 1. We prepared our chairs and started to do the test 1.

      I think this week was difficult for me because the time for the test was short for me. But I’m find because I think that It was challenged for me.

      I felt a bit nervous about the score for this week!

“Descriptive” continued

      On Monday 6th February, this was the sixth week that we learn. So, we continued learned about descriptive from last week. The teacher told us to talk about what did we learn from last week?

      So, we talk about the komodo in the handout. The teacher explained the story and told us to do the activities in the handout. , the activity A was “Answer the questions based on the text.” And activity B was “Match the word with the correct meaning.” After we did it finished, she gave us the corrective feedback.

      Next, the teacher told us to read Budapest in the text 2. After we finished read the topic, I answer the questions that below in the text. After that, she gave us the corrective feedback.
And we read the text 3, “Prague”. She also told us to do the activity below this text too gave us the corrective feedback.

      Next, the teacher told us to read the text 4 and do the activities in this text and she told us to make a group. So, my group got the topic “Place” and we had to describe the place that we were interesting “Sanam Chandra Palace”. We wrote for 15 minutes from this activity picked someone up to present the text that we wrote.
      Finally, the teacher explained the purpose of this lesson. So, it’s “to describe and reveal a particular person’ place, or thing”.
      I think the activity from text 4 was easy to me. So, I used skimming, scanning, and finding references to comprehend the texts.
