Course Introduction

On Monday 9th January this is the first day of the second semester with Dr.Usa Noytim. She's the same teacher that we learned with him in English Reading Strategy.
After she checked the member in this class, she was explained about this course. She talked about What is the discourse marker? , What we able to do if we finish in this course? , What did you do on the last vacation? Then, we started to talk about we did they do on the last vacation in two minutes.
Next, She gave us the course outline and worksheet. After that, we did the three activities in that worksheet. First, It's about read the text and matched the words in the texts. Second, read and completed the sentences in the paragraph and the last is about rewrote the sentences by using the connectors. I know many vocabularies in this activity that the teacher was searched. It's about the words that we can't pronounce such as:
>Polygyny (n.) /pəˈlɪdʒ.ɪ.ni/ = the practice of having more than one wife or permanent female sexual partner at the same time.
>Pharmacological (adj.) /ˌfɑː.mə.kəˈlɒdʒ.ɪ.kəl/ = relating to treatment that uses drugs.
>Cardiovascular (adj.) /ˌkɑː.di.əʊˈvæs.kjə.lər/ = relating to the heart and blood vessels (= tubes that carry blood around the body).
>Respiratory (adj.) /rɪˈspɪr.ə.tər.i/ = relating to breathing.
>Category (n.) /ˈkæt.ə.ɡri/ = (in a system for dividing things according to appearance, quality, etc.) a type or a group of things having some features that are the same.
>Classification (n.) /ˌklæs.ɪ.fɪˈkeɪ.ʃən/ = the act or process of dividing things into groups according to their type.
>Procedure (n.) /prəˈsiː.dʒər/ = a set of actions that is the official or accepted way of doing something.

In this course, I think It was easy for me about match the words with the correct genres of the text.

I use past tense in this class to talked about what I did in the last vacation.
I think this week was not difficult for me, and I'm so much relaxed because I met and talked me friends again in the new semester.
