"Narrative continues" and "Descriptive"

On Monday 30th January, I continued learned about “Narrative” from yesterday. She asked Ger to tell about the summary of the short story “Secret” in front of the class. After that, the teacher explained about Narrative. There are so many types of narrative such as mysteries, science fiction, fairy stories, etc.
Next activity, the teacher told the students to make a group of five people to discussing the story’s symbol in a Secret short story. It had 4 symbols; the eggs, the well, the photos, Kylie’s cutting of the photo. And each group were represented by the symbol in front of the class.
This is about my group were discussed:
- The eggs refer to something valuable of her mind. Because she wanted to take care the eggs. So, she didn’t get from this family.

-  The well refers to the seeking/ love compassion from the family. So, she climbed down to the dangerous area.
-  The photos refer to her memories in childhood because she had a warm family.
- Kylie’s cutting of the photo refers to threw herself out of this family.

Next, we were started to learn about “Descriptive”. I think this lesson would learn about the description to anything or anyone. Before we learn this lesson, the teacher was opened the pictures and told us to describe each picture. We have described the type of the animal, appearance, and diet.
First, she opened green darner dragonfly:
 - The type of the animal: Insect

- Appearance: 4 wings, small body, and it looks like the jet plane.
- Diet: dew and grasses.

      Next picture was the ant:
- The type of the animal: Insect
- Appearance: long legs, small body, orange color, two eyes, big abdomen and head, antenna, and mandible.
- Diet: sugar or sweet, and food.

And the last was komodo, the teacher told us to describe for this picture together in the group:
Appearance: long and forked tongue, fat body and long tail, four big legs, rough skin, gray color, and it looks like crocodile combine with the snake.

Habitat: it lives on the ground and in the water, a lot of trees, and humidity places. It always lives alone.
Diet: fishes, insects, plants, animals, chicken, meat.
Next, the teacher gave us about the descriptive handout and drew the diagram. Then she added the information onto the diagram and told us to do it for the homework.
I think this lesson was easy to me because I really like about describe things.
I was fine about this week because it was easy.
